Finally A place I can clear my mind
I started this blog all in the purpose of knowing that somewhere out there is women like me that understand me and that I understand them. A place were we can share our hearts in secret yet impact our relationships, ministry, goals, & dreams in a POSITIVE way. A place we can find advice, encouragement, ears that listen, friends. This is to me a goal. A way to help myself and others. A spot where no one can judge us nor criticize our weaknesses and falls. I pray that this place can refuge your heart as it will with mine. My prayers are with you all in the Lord.
Perfect Expectations, Yet I am Not So Perfect
How many times have I thought to myself and felt so lost and like total failure? To many to even mention. All my life I have grown up knowing that being a Christ like person was to think, walk, talk, and even be a perfect person. But that is not at all possible. Especially being bound by our fleshes desires. Our sinful nature is powerful yet so weak. All at the same time. A cocktail of emotions run through us all of our lives. It's almost like a roller coaster. On day we are high and feel in the mood to bless anyone and everyone and the next day we pretty much don't give care about the image we portray. We can be rude, nonchalant attitude, and proud. God did not call us for this. In fact Proverbs 16:18 says that right before we fall comes a "haughty" spirit.
When we enable our flesh to grieve the Holy spirit we step into a the arena to battle Satan on our own instead of letting Jesus fight for us. And that is where failure comes to play. We battle and of course we will fail to be victorious. Then again and again like always we come to God and ask, "Lord, why don't you help me? why do you let me fall?" Well it is because the battle is not for us to fight. When a difficult situation comes to us and we give in and become negative and we began to.... Yes Complain! We can imagine ourselves stepping into the ring to fight with Satan, but are we really? We listen to him an give into our complaints and worries. Guess what? When we do that we tell God that we don't trust Him.
We honor God by Trusting Him. We show God that we love Him by relying solely on Him and His guidance. A wonderful thing I have learned throughout life is that when I have to complain about something I go to God in prayer and just....... Blah! Spit it out!.......... Spit what out?....... Praise, Praise, Praise, Praise God for where He is when your going through a difficult situation. Well where is he? I need Him Here with me. Of course we do, God remains sitting on His throne in all of His Majesty with just one word filled with power to be said to you, and to minister to you in a time of need. So everything takes us back to prayer, fasting, Meditating on His word!!!! His word is His way of speaking directly to our hearts, His word penetrates into our heart and discerns the intentions of the heart.
So be clear with God. And what can Praising God do for you when you have complaints. The presence of God will drive away all negativity in your mind, it will renew your strength and the Spirit will give you a solution to your problem. Well what if my problem has no solution? Guess what? Your solution is to accept the things you can't change. And change the Things you can. Well what if I have been praying and fasting so that my husband changes, and he just does not change.... Well One thing I have learned is that the only person I have the power to change is myself. When you permit God to minister to your heart, the love of God enters into your life and you began to love and see others the way God sees you. With patience, grace, and mercy. Pray without ceasing!
There is power in prayer for you!!! God makes us righteous and perfect. When we have surrendered our will to Him.
Can we give God our life? Our life is God's to began with, He gives it and takes it when he pleases. Surrender your Will, because God can't take our Will, For He gave us freedom of Will to do as we please. Let God do as He pleases with you! Till then you will see that your perfect expectations are God Perfect plans, and that He will remain faithful and true, because He is Perfect, and your a perfect Fathers Daughter!
